The Valley Invitational Baseball League (VIBL) starts it's 10th year of summer baseball.  The league started with just a handful of teams in 2000 and now includes 30 teams from the CIF Southern and City Sections.  The level of play is as good as it gets with all the best Southern California high schools participating.  The league is designed to develop and showcase the players that will star for each school the following spring.  The league has switched too wood bats this season for the first time.  An agreement to have every game scored on an iPad using ESPN iScore has been approved by the league.

VIBL set to use wood bats this season.  JV teams will continue to swing current NFHS approved metal bats.

An agreement to have every game scored on an iPad using iScore has been approved.  ESPN is sponsoring this test run of their web site and software.  League stats, standings, and other info will be available from any devise that has an internet connection. Live scoreboard and play by play will be available for the first time!
