You are obviously a very talented and diverse young man. Not only are you involved in baseball, but you’re also involved in band and martial arts. How do you balance all of your activities and still keep your sanity?

Well, I just try to manage my time wisely so I can find time for all of the activities I do.

Tell us about Kendo? What is it? Is it true you get to fight with bamboo sticks? How much do you enjoy participating in it?

Kendo is a sport that you try to hit the opponent on the head, wrist, waist and the neck. And yes you do use bamboo sticks. I really enjoy the sport because it gives me an adrenaline rush whenever I am in a match with someone and if I am ever having a bad day, I could let out all my anger on the other person.

What instrument do you play?

Clarinet.

Take us through a typical day in the life of Josh Lee.

Wake up, school, baseball, come home, shower, eat, homework, TV, online, then I go out and do something with friends.

You seem to have real supportive parents that encourage you to have multiple talents. Talk about how important your family is to you?

My family is really supportive of everything I do. No matter what I do, they will always be there for me. I love my family very much.

What is your favorite baseball memory?

My favorite memory is when I hit my first and only homerun off C.J. way back on bronco field.

You mentioned that there was once a time when you were thinking of quitting baseball as a youngster, but your dad (who loves baseball) talked you out of it. Now that you are part of the West Ranch program, are you happy you stuck with it? Describe your experience in the baseball program.

Yes I am very happy with my decision to sticking with baseball. The baseball program for West Ranch is great. I love it even though we run a lot.

Tell us something about you that nobody knows?

I hate spiders.

What is your favorite kind of music? Name some bands you like.

I like to listen to all kinds. N.E.R.D., Linkin Park, Immortal Technique, Switchfoot, Kanye West, Afroman, Black Eyed Peas.

If you could take any girl on the planet to a school dance, who would you choose?

Kristen Kreuk.

What is your favorite meal?

My favorite meal would be home made ribs and rice.

Where will you be four years from now?

In four years I hope to be in a good UC college
