What is your favorite baseball memory?
My favorite baseball memory had to be when my cousin Eric Byrnes took me and my brother into the locker room of Oakland Coliseum. We got to hang out with Barry Zito and a bunch of the other players. The locker room had its own snack bar with hot dogs, shelves of candy and soda. It was really cool.
In your opinion, what is the best thing about high school baseball?
In my opinion high school baseball is a great learning experience, great competition and fun being able to play ball with your buddies.
If you could have a concert in your backyard, what three bands would you have playing?
- American Hollow
- Comeback Kid
- Underminded
After you hit the game winning homerun, your friends offer to take you out to dinner at the restaurant of your choice. Where do you go and what do you eat?
Maybe Kisho with double fried rice or a good double beef dipped sandwich at Phillipe’s in L.A.
If you could take any girl on the planet to a school dance, who would you choose?

Is there a family member, friend, or athlete that serves as an inspiration to you? If so, tell us why.
Mike Burke has been a great coach and mentor for me for about 2 years. He pushes me hard to do better on and off the field. He also has helped me with the mental aspect of the game.
Which one of your teammates is most likely to end up on American Idol one day?
Id have to say with-out a dought Troy, he knows every band every song and every word to the song. It’s amazing I really have never met anyone like troy he really knows his stuff.
Tell us something about you that nobody knows.
I think everyone knows everything about me except I can’t stand sushi or any seafood what so ever, even those microwavable fish sticks.
If you could attend any sporting event in the world, what would you choose?
Definitely game seven of the Yankees- Red Sox series. Or a Manchester vs. Brazil match in Europe with Manchester winning 3 to 2.
If you could invite any three people in the history of the world over for dinner, who would they be?
Jesus Christ for the most obvious reasons, Sean White because he is the only guy in the world to have one two gold medals in skating and snowboarding, and last Abraham Lincoln because he is my favorite president.
